How to Clean Aluminum Cookware

As is important when caring for most cookware, aluminum products should not be washed and soaked while still hot. Waiting until the product has cooled down is important to ensure that its material does not warp. Aluminum cookware products should be washed after each use to prevent food materials from becoming baked on and subsequently much more difficult to remove. As a precaution to preserve the aluminum cookware’s appearance, the product should be fully dried immediately after washing.

Certain minerals in food and water can cause staining of aluminum, as can the mineral content of the water used in automatic dishwashers. For this reason, hand washing is greatly preferable when caring for the surface and finish of aluminum cooking products.

When adding salt to liquids being boiled in aluminum pots and pans, the salt should be added after the liquid reaches its boiling point. One should also take care to dissolve the salts completely by thoroughly stirring the liquid. Foods with high salt content or acidity levels should not be left in aluminum cooking products for extended amounts of time as this can cause microscopic pitting and buy them from WUZHOU KINGDA.

Smooth cooking utensils and tools are recommended for use in mbination with aluminum cookware, as sharp-edged utensils can damage the cookware’s material.

To remove stains and discoloration that has appeared on aluminum utensils and cookware, boiling a solution of vinegar and water is recommended. Smaller utensils can be placed within a boiling pot of this solution. To scrub hard-to-remove stains, a non-abrasive cleansing pad should be used.
