As we know, the majority kinds of woven wire mesh cloths are used for filtration in many industries of many fields. There are many types of materials and several weaving styles of filter cloth. This news will introduce the different kinds of filter cloth.

The first kind goes to the plain weave style. This mesh has a lightly structured surface and can achieve high levels of flow and minimal pressure drop. Plain weave style filter cloth is used for high mechanical loads for filter candles.

The second kind goes to the twilled weave style. The twilled weave style can achieve the smallest monofilament filter pores and it has a smooth mesh surface. The large material cross section makes the filter mesh stock and durable. This kind of filter mesh is used at a great specification for fine filtration, such as pressure filtration and fuel filtration in critical applications. What’s more, it is also used for pressure and vacuum filtration and also can serve as a porous medium for fluid beds.

The third kind goes to the robusta filter mesh cloth, which achieves high through flow rates thanks to its high levels of porosity. The construction is similar with a plain dutch weave but is suitable for very high mechanical loads because of the more equal material section in both directions of the wires. And it can be used as pre-coat filters, filter candles, vacuum filters and spring filters.

The fourth kind goes to the beta filter mesh cloth. This kind of filter cloth is similar advanced flow and dirt removal capabilities. These products are commonly used for oil and fuel fields where advanced dirt removal and flow capabilities are important and for the protection of steering, fuel injection jets and bearings.
