Those who want to enjoy a proper cup of tea employ the use of a tea infuser. The tea infuser utilizes loose leaf tea placed into hot water to steep. Infusers are environmentally conscious as only the tea leaves are thrown away instead of a paper tea bag. Infusers come in different sizes to make a single cup or an entire pot.
Instructions
Spoon Infuser
1.Pour hot water into your tea cup or pot.
2.Open the spoon infuser by pushing on the clasp holding the two sections together. Place the loose leaf tea into the spoon and close the clasp.
3.Put the spoon into the tea cup or pot. Let the tea steep to the desired strength and remove the infuser. Discard the used leaves.
4.Fill a tea cup or pot with hot water.
5.Unscrew the two halves of the tea infuser ball. Some tea infuser balls will not unscrew unless they are aligned in a certain way.
6.Fill one the ball with loose tea about half way. Filling the ball more than half way may not allow for the leaves to steep properly and can result in bitter tasting tea.
Nylon Tea Infuser
7.Fill the nylon mesh bag with loose leaf tea.
8.Pour hot water over the nylon bag slowly allowing it to go over the leaves and drip into the cup below.
9.Hold the bag above the cup until all water has drained from the bag.
