All wire baskets shown from WUZHOU KINGDA are designed by carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel. The wire mesh baskets are generally clean to the touch, but may have a slight brown discoloration around welds and may have very light process oils remaining on the surface. And our company all products can be customized by your order.

However, whichever alloy you use for the wire mesh, it must be able to withstand repeated exposure to the chemicals used in your ultrasonic cleaning process. Due of this, it may be better to use a slightly thicker wire mesh made from a resistant alloy than a thinner one made from a less resistant material. The mesh basket also can be maked of this wire mesh which is also corrosion resistance. The materials also can be used as the following materials:

304 Stainless Steel: The most common of the industrial stainless steel grades. Good corrosion resistance in wet and mildly caustic environments. Good high temperature strength to 1200°F. Can resist the high temperature and corrosion resistance. Slightly stronger than carbon steel.

316 Stainless Steel: Higher Nickel content than 304 Stainless Steel makes it slightly more expensive and more corrosion resistant than 304.  More resist high temperature and heat resistance than the stainless steel 304. Good high temperature strength to 1200°F. 316 Stainless steel baskets are slightly stronger than carbon steel baskets.

Carbon Steel (in natural finish): Strong and lower price. It also has very limited corrosion resistance in natural finish. Mesh baskets made from carbon steel are a great choice for manual solvent cleaning and indoor material handling applications where light rusting will not stain or contaminate parts. And carbon steel baskets should not be used without a surface coating for any long-term outdoor applications, in any aqueous (water-based) dipping or cleaning applications, or in any caustic environments, it is more useful than others.
